German Educare – Your Go-To Expert for Studying in Germany
Vielen Dank GEC! Yap Hong Jay27 April 2024 My journey with German Educare has been really fruitful. From the first day of learning German in Methodist College Kuala Lumpur up till today, where I am well settled in Aachen, Germany, GEC has been guiding & giving advice to me whenever needed. GEC promotes self-growth too! For matters like Pre-internships and Accommodation search after the first 6 months, GEC introduced it to us, but we had to discover and settle the rest on our own. However the team would respond as soon as possible to our questions and doubts along the way. After all, life is about gaining experience and getting out of your comfort zone 😊. GEC is continuously improving, to provide a better space for the new batches. I think one of the most helpful and inspiring elements that they offer is Mentoring. Upon arrival, our Mentors shared their experiences, tips and advice with us, which definitely came in handy. We also had monthly meet-ups for the first few months in Germany!! As a mentor now, I also feel the joy in sharing and giving support to my fellow juniors. Not only that, I also get to learn some things that I didn't know from them! GEC is like a big family. Despite being away from home for about 7 months now, I'm not alone. This community is right here, there are seniors in the same region, and the team back home, is just one message away. Overall I'm grateful for GEC and I'm excited for its growth and future!!😆 Jia Pei Thing26 April 2024 German Educare has assisted me immensely throughout my journey to Germany. Everything from learning a new language in Malaysia to settling down in Germany. The employees are really friendly and helpful, willing to assist the students at anytime. Although the fees are slightly higher in comparison to travelling to Germany alone, I believe that a parent can put their trust into German Educare ensuring that their children are in safe hands. On top of that, as a German Educare programme graduate, I have also met many new people that share the same challenges and obstacles as me, which had been really helpful too. Timothy Ooi26 April 2024 I'm from GEC Batch 12 and I studied German here from May to August 2023. The time I spent here was pleasant and I made many precious friends and memories. The GEC staff are all helpful and patient with us. I would like to thank the whole German Educare Team for getting us as far as we have all come now. Thank you for all your support and help during our journey of learning the language, moving to Germany and settling all the important and complicated matters for us! Without you all I think we would have struggled a lot more. Thank you all very much. ♥️ Ann26 April 2024 GEC really helped me to adapt to Germany flawlessly. With their help, German bureaucracy was never too stressful. Even after the language courses, you will still know people both from your batch and also seniors that are all around Germany, so you will always have someone familiar to guide you. Howard Loo26 April 2024 The procedures and bureaucracy to enter a university in Germany can be daunting and complicated. But thanks to German Educare, these procedures and bureaucracy are much simplified. Thank you to the German Educare team for their support, guidance and care in their University Preparatory Programme which has helped my child to successfully study in a university in Germany today. Kudos to the team and I wish German Educare all the best of success! Kelvin Low24 April 2024 German Educare not only taught me the German language in such a short time, they supported me every single step of the way as well. From Language to Uni Applications to Accomodations and all the little things, they were there to guide me until I had the confidence and knowledge to study securely and comfortably in Germany. Cheng Zhen Lee17 April 2024 Very professional information provided for studying in Germany. The team is highly dedicated in answering my questions and clearing my doubts. Helen Ho Pei Kian10 February 2024 After A-Levels, I had a wish to further my studies overseas. I was worried about the issues such as how to apply for visa, how to search for accomodation, and how to apply for unis. By joining German Educare, they helped us settle these issues. They provided German classes, which makes the transition process smoother when I arrive at Germany. I could at least order food and understand train announcements. German Educare also provides a community in Germany, which is made up of the alumnis. The community is very helpful, as the seniors have more experience staying in Germany and could provide help for the juniors who face problems. Alan Tan22 January 2024 Go to German Educare if you want to have fun before university. Kang Ee Ming17 December 2023
Do I need to learn German to study in Germany?
It really depends on the language of the course you’re applying for. If the course is taught in German, then yes, you’ll need to know German. But if the course is in English, the language requirements can vary. Some universities won’t require you to know German, while others might expect you to have basic knowledge of the language.
Even if you’re studying in English, it’s still a good idea to learn some German. You’ll find it helpful when you’re out and about, like when shopping at the supermarket or visiting the barber.
If you’d prefer to study in English without worrying about the language barrier, check out the programme below instead.
